A Vote for Slagel Tonight Means:

You can be bought.

Your character can be compromised.

When the pressure is on, you waver.

You have a political agenda greater than your service to this city.

Every decision you make from here on out will either be tainted or respected based on the decision you make tonight. So please, vote with integrity.

"Men of genius are admired, men of wealth are envied, men of power are feared; but only men of character are trusted."

  1. Don't these guys on the council understand that once they vote for Slagel tonight, he (Slagel) has no further use for them. Some of them think that if they "appease" the bully (Slagel) by voting for him, he will magically support them and what they want to do or that it will promote "harmony" on the council. WRONG. All you get with appeasing the bully is more bullying.

  2. My question is... it took them 40 minutes to do that???

Line of the night: Dennis saying he's not leaving with a frowny face. Got a few laughs from the citizenry.

I am glad Steve did not vote for Slag. Made for some awkward comments from Slag.. "I know why you didn't vote for me and I understand it.." sayeth the Slag.

  3. i say kudos to the lady who spoke in the visitors section calling for a public vote from these clowns...she's the one who had brass ones....none of the seven dwarfs certainly do. as they said, so much for transparency!

  4. What Liz? I can't tell what you're trying to say, it's hard to understand you through this thick cloud of transparency we have settled here in Richardson tonight....

And I agree, she did have some brass ones!

  5. Interesting the way the people of Richardson seem to disagree by ousting both council members who voted against Gary Slagel two years ago.
