Anybody Else Think I'm A Shoe In?

click image to enlargeVery Important Detail:But why stop there? I went ahead and threw in my social security and pin number as well.

Btw, if you're really buying into this pathetic attempt to plump up the Coalition mailing list I implore you all to AT THE VERY LEAST create a bogus e-mail address before you nominate your neighbor, plumber, or favorite blogger.

  1. Thanks for posting this piece of "garbage" from Chuck Eisemann and his band of elderly Richardson Coalition. This group is constantly searching for relevance given their advanced age and single purpose (Slagel = Eisemann = Mayor) - and will stop at nothing, including lies and deception to do it.

You're right, if people are foolish enough to fill this out, at least enter a bogus email address. I particularly love the part in their email where they say forward it on to your neighbors and have them vote. Sadly, some people will innocently do so, only to be "spamed" by the RC down the road.

Chuck is a bad dude who is bad for Richardson.

  2. Destiny, honey, thank you for posting this! This group is TOTALLY disgusting to me and my friends. Chuck Eisemann should be ashamed of himself for being such a lier and deceiver. One of my friends even referred to him as a scumbag.

Chuck and his group make it sound like they have been "awarding" this prize for years - when in fact, they haven't. They are simply "trolling" for more email addresses. How could anyone be stupid enough to provide them with all of the information they want?

Yes, Destiny, I'd like to nominate you. You are a real asset to our community!

  3. Sorry, Destiny, I'm voting for Nathan Morgan and the tin foil hats.

  4. Nathan or Cheri would both be EXCELLENT choices!

  5. Strange, I have never seen Nathan wearing a hat, tin foil or otherwise. Maybe anonymous@9:53 has a vivid imagination.

  6. I was SERIOUS about Nathan Morgan.

  7. The coalition beefcakes are probably licking their wounds and trying to regain the legitimacy they sold when they tainted the last election. Oh ya, and are we not wondering why we voted for those guys now? Taxing and spending is all they understand. What have they done with the last pile of money they pinched us for? Raising taxes to continue their bad spending habits. I don't think so.

  8. Somehow I doubt they'll take my nomination of my mom, considering they called her unethical and mean-spirited. I still am tempted to nominate her (with a fake email, of course)...mainly for trying to take down the Coalition.

  10. Indeed, Chris Davis is the unsung hero here. She would have been an OUSTANDING councilwoman, but, instead, we got 20-year incumbent, Eisemann puppet John Murphy. This guy hasn't given two sh*ts about his district since he first got elected - and it shows. The SW part of the city is literally falling about.

Word has it that Murphy is FINALLY sort of getting the message - only because the powers at be have said either "shape up or ship out". I'm holding out for the "ship out" part. While charming, this guy is awful for District 3 and this city. If Murph has been so good for "the region", then the region can have him.

  11. Maybe UTD will take him. He is going to vote for the bond to do $2.8 million in roads in exchange for leasing land. If indeed as "Tex" Keffler has said, it would cost the same for the land as it would the roads, why the hell don't we buy the land and let UTD build their own roads. Richardson has some terrible negotiators. Give away the farm "Tex." Tax and Spend liberal is all we have on our council. Time for them to go. Maybe Eisemann can shut his lying mouth and go with them too.

  12. I have to disagree with an earlier comment. John Murphy does care about his district. The part on Waterview, especially if they are serving food.

  13. the "murph" does obviously care about food. If he would show the same concern with OPM, maybe he would not be so disliked.

  15. Between Slagel and Murphy, I am surprised that we have anything left to give in this city. In addition to the "freebies" they continue to give to UTD, Slagel and Murphy want to spend $1M on entry features at the north end of 75. What?

Not only do we not an entry feature - given we have over $300M in infrastructure needs - why in the world are they putting it only on the north end? I guess that Slagel and Murphy know that our southern entrance on 75 looks so bad they don't even WANT people to know that is Richardson. I hear that they are hoping that Dallas will just an annex SW Richardson. They'd even throw in Duck Creek if Dallas would do it. This way, they can focus on their baby, Canyon Creek.

  16. Actually, Murphy fought and voted against the entry feature last night. I don't think I've ever seen Slagel not get his way before. Then again, Soloman is wavering, so we'll see whether that vote stands.

Folks might e-mail members of the council (especially Mark Soloman) this week and politely explain why you support taking that entry feature off the bond package.

  17. Yeah, Solomon wavered big time. I know, shocking. In fact, he spoke IN FAVOR of the entry feature, then, when Slag informally polled the council, Solomon went with Mitchell, Townsend, and Murph and said wasn't needed. Slagel was PISSED. Guess the Slagel-puppet Solomon can be unpredictable - Slag will surely put him the doghouse for it.

  18. I've watch Solomon do that exact same thing before. He thinks Amir's going a certain way and so he'll vote for what he 'thinks' someone else wants only to end up looking like an indecisive ass all alone.
